You made a good soup, but you see that there is too much fat in it?
Not very healthy all that, and moreover it does not add anything to the taste.
Fortunately, to get rid of this fat that has nothing to do with it, my grandmother had a very simple trick.
The easy trick is to put ice cubes in the soup.
Contents
1. Put 3 to 4 ice cubes in your soup or broth.
2. Let them melt for a few moments.
3. With a spoon, catch the fat that solidifies under the effect of the cold.
There you go, you have easily removed all the fat from your soup :-)
The cold will cause the fat and oil to clump together and become increasingly white and solid.
All you have to do is remove them.
This trick also works to remove the fat in a stew.
