First solution is the simplest.
You can simply replace the bicarbonate of food sodaby baking powder.
Simply multiply the dose by 3.
For example, if you need 1 teaspoon of baking soda, you need 3 teaspoons of yeast.
Not complicated, is it?

On the other hand, you have to think about making other adjustments in your recipe to keep a good balance.
- If your recipe calls for salt, you can eliminate it from the list of ingredients, or in any case greatly reduce the quantity.
Indeed, yeast already contains salt. So if you leave the initial amount of salt, your recipe may be too salty.
- You must also remove all acidic liquids.
Why ? Because baking soda reacts with acidic ingredients. Try mixing it with lemon, you will immediately see the reaction.

The other easy trick is to use self-rising flour.
Self-rising flour is flour that already contains yeast.
