Nothing easier to make than a mayonnaise… and to miss too !
And there, when the mayonnaise does not take, it is a disaster. The whole meal falls apart...
Luckily, we have a trick to get it right every time.
The trick is to take the ingredients out in advance, so that they are at room temperature. Watch:
1. Take the eggs out of the fridge ahead of time.
2. Do the same with the mustard.
3. Put the egg yolk and mustard together.
4. Add salt and pepper.
5. Whisk the ingredients, adding the oil slowly, in a trickle.
6. Continue until the mayonnaise takes on a nice consistency.
And there you have it, you have made a delicious mayonnaise :-)
Simple, practical and effective!
