In China and Japan, tea is often enjoyed with meals. Just like wine, you can combine tea with the taste of the food.
Good to remember
- White tea neutralizes your taste and is therefore a good option to drink between courses. Due to the soft taste, it combines well with spicy dishes and cheese.
- To put it very simply, green tea goes well with dishes that you drink white wine with. You combine black tea with dishes that you would drink red wine with.
- Rooibos tea is a winning team with sweetness, so perfect with dessert.
