Watch the video below. Scroll down a bit to read what gluten is.
What are gluten?
According to the Dutch Celiac Association:'Gluten is a protein that occurs naturally in wheat, rye, barley, spelt and khorasan wheat. Gluten is also found in products made from these grains. Think of bread, crackers, pizza, pasta, breadcrumbs, biscuits, cake and pie. It is also hidden in products where you do not immediately expect it. For example in the ingredients of soups (binder, vermicelli or meat), in sauces, some sweets, ice creams and beer. Oats are often contaminated (contaminated) and therefore cannot simply be used safely in a gluten-free diet.'
