Tips to make a healthier burger

Next time, sink your teeth into a burger that's a little healthier.

1. Use a different bun Make your burger from a whole-wheat bun, or use wraps instead of bread. For those who are attached to the bun, but want to eat too much bread:you can also just put a bun under your hamburger.

2. Use a lot of vegetables
Place your burger with lots of (grilled) vegetables. If you have a good and tasty piece of meat, you don't even need cheese anymore.

3. Replace the cheese
By omitting the cheese, you save 100 calories. If you still want to add something with a different structure, you can use avocado.

4. Use different meat
Use leaner meats, such as chicken or turkey. You can also experiment with a vegetable burger.
