Tahini goes with sweet and savory.
You can buy ready-made tahini at the supermarkets, but you can also make your own tahini as the basis for these recipes.

Mix 4 tbsp tahini with 4 tbsp honey and ½ tsp vanilla powder. Mix 50 g almonds into a coarse flour. Add this to the tahini mix and stir well. Then add 90 g oat flour and ½ tsp baking powder. Make 12 round cookies and flatten them. Place them on the baking paper, sprinkle with sesame seeds and put them in the fridge for 30 minutes. Then bake the cookies in a preheated oven for 10 minutes at 170 degrees.
Mix ½ cup tahini with ¼ cup honey, 2 tsp sea salt and 1 tsp black pepper. Spread this on the chicken and roast it for about an hour in a preheated oven at 190 C. Serve with lemon slices and fresh oregano.
In a food processor, blend 400 g cannellini beans with ½ cup tahini, 3 tsp lemon juice, 3 tsp water, 2 tsp finely grated horseradish and 1 tsp sea salt until smooth. Top it off with a sesame seed topping and serve with pita bread or sliced raw vegetables.
