Ah the popcorn machine!!! The completely useless thing, especially since the advent of microwave popcorn, but how much fun with the very designer version by Jolene Carlier, a graduate of the Design Academy of Eindhoven. The young designer, who believes very strongly in the playful power of blowing corn seeds to liven up small home cinema evenings, has created this rather magical device that one might think came from the imagination of a mad scientist. The beast, not yet marketed, consists of a heating part to "puffer the corn", and a transparent tube in which the popcorn travels, which will be -yes or no and that's where it's at. funny too – sent to the serving bowl!
