French toast from Mado, journalist at D8
A super easy recipe for stale bread!

8-10 slices of stale country bread
2 eggs
40 cl of milk
4 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (more or less to taste)
1 large knob of butter
icing sugar
Recipe
in a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar and cinnamon. Dip the bread in the mixture until well soaked. Heat a frying pan and melt the knob of butter, install the slices and cook over low heat on both sides. Serve them on a plate, sprinkled with icing sugar.
