The Week of Taste reminds us of our childhood, when in the canteen, we ate healthier and more elaborate dishes for five days... Well this week, the event is back, and no, it's not only for the children! Throughout France, activities are organized to delight our taste buds and highlight the country's culinary heritage. But what do you need to know about the Semaine du Goût in order not to miss a crumb of this new edition?
Who says Taste Week says educational environment. The objective is always to make pupils of kindergartens, primary, high schools and universities discover the treasures of our gastronomy and above all to teach them how to eat well! For this, farmers, cooks or even bakers go to the establishments to communicate their know-how, their recipes and their tips on a daily basis!
Many activities are organized throughout France to make this week a fun event. On October 14, don't miss the "Very Very Gourmet Treasure Hunt" in Paris:a treasure hunt in the city. The goal ? Find the recipe of Michelin-starred Chef Julien Dumas…
More than 500 restaurants become “Les Tables du Goût” to offer us new and themed menus especially for the Semaine du Goût. And this year, the king food is… squash! We are thus rediscovering this seasonal vegetable thanks to these chefs and partner restaurants.
