Our generation completely adores avocados, and for good reason:it is a vegetable that is high in fiber, contains fat (healthy!), and is rich in vitamins. But it must be admitted that its often distant origin (Peru, Mexico…) and therefore its price, can discourage more than one. However, according to the Association of British Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS), it's not the worst:many people have cut their hands trying to remove the core of their avocado... To counter this "scourge", the chain of English stores Marks &Spencer has decided to produce avocados without pit, to prevent its fellow citizens from new accidents in the genre!
In principle, it's pretty cool:these second-generation avocados (which look like cucumbers) will save us from hurting ourselves… But apart from this (a little weird) selling point, they can be eaten entirely, it's that is to say without the need to peel them. Practical and interesting from a zero waste perspective. That said, we are a little skeptical about the natural side of the fruit... And above all, we will lose the charm of its very special kernel, which we will no longer be able to (try to) plant in a glass of water as we had seen in a tutorial on Instagram (there really are tutorials for everything!).
In short, we won't cross the Channel for that...
