After a meal or a cleaning session, many people have the annoying habit of dumpting anything and everything into their sink or grinder :food, expired products, cleaning products… Bad reflex! Because our pipelines , which allow wastewater to escape, can quickly be clogged and give off bad odors . Without forgetting of course the environmental risks , in terms of pollution.
To keep a clean and functional sink you have to be careful what you pour down the drain. The fat for example, liquid or solid, is very harmful to our pipes and the environment. It sticks and agglomerates on the walls, which has the effect of clogging and damaging them. The same goes for coffee grounds and flour , we naively think that very small grains are harmless but no. By accumulating they can also clog the evacuation system. Other risks:cleaning products and pesticides . By their composition they should not be eliminated anyhow. Certain terms and instructions are to be taken into account on their label. Clearly, to avoid unpleasant surprises it is better to use the trash and sort of our waste simply.
