Freixenet is coming this summer with a Limited Edition bottle that is only available in four countries, including the Netherlands. Black-matte bottles with gold dots reference the polka dots on the dresses of fiery Spanish flamenco dancers, a tradition as Spanish as cava itself. The sparkling wine in the stylish Limited Edition bottles is Freixenet Cordon Negro, a feast of delicate aromas. This brut wine has notes of pear and green apple that go together with Mediterranean fruits such as peach, melon, pineapple and a hint of citrus. The pearly bubbles are nicely balanced and the aftertaste is light, but long and elegant.
