Mayonnaise goes well with a number of dishes:cold roasts of course , but also prawns, crab, langoustines, lobster…
In short, I love it!
And above all, I like to prepare one myself. It's so much better.
Unfortunately, I sometimes miss it:it does not set and remains liquid.
But there is no question of throwing everything away:I use a trick that my grandmother gave me.
If my mayonnaise is too runny, I use white vinegar to make up for it .
Eh yes ! White vinegar is magic! Here's how:
Contents
1. Take some of the failed mayonnaise.
2. Boil a tablespoon of white vinegar.
3. Pour the white vinegar into the failed mayonnaise.
4. Start whipping the 2 together.
5. Then slowly add the rest of the failed mayonnaise.
There you go, you have caught up with your too liquid mayonnaise :-)
Simple, practical and effective!
You see, it's easy to recover a failed mayonnaise.
No more liquid mayonnaise with this grandmother's trick!
It is now very firm and still delicious.
White vinegar does not change its taste, don't worry!
