Our trick is not complicated:take a bottle of water. Pour a little mint syrup or grenadine. Mix.
Place the bottle in the freezer so that it freezes completely. Take it out, remove the cap and put the bottle back in the freezer horizontally, without its cap.
If the next time you leave the liquid has leaked into the compartment, you will see it immediately by the color that will have spread. This will mean that your food has been defrosted.
To detect for sure the defrosting of your freezer, testers exist but they are still euros to go out.
