Beetroot puree is a nice alternative to traditional beetroot puree. potato.
A blender, and you're done:a very pink puree for a very cute meal.
I tested a very simple recipe for less than 1€ which made me smile right away :D.
Beets, I've never had the opportunity to eat them other than raw vegetables.
And then I wanted to experiment with Beetroot Purée .
1. I put in my little steamer 2 potatoes, my beetroot and a small carrot.
2. I mixed everything
3. I added a tablespoon of olive oil, one of fresh cream (or yogurt), some aromatic herbs (parsley, oregano) and a pinch of cumin. Salt, pepper... It's ready!
Result :
An original and delicious puree all in pink for the princess I'm trying to become :p.
Since then, I've made purees of everything:celery, broccoli, carrots, parsnips... Much better than baby jars... but for older children too!
