Packaging
Your packets of cakes, laundry detergent boxes, food cartons, paper towel rolls, etc. will be much better in your sorting bin than in your trash.
Personally, I try to favor products with as little packaging as possible. Thus, I generate less waste.
The Glass
All your glass bottles and jars should be put in your sorting bin or in the special glass container of your choice (you can find them everywhere).
Composter
I always have a small plastic bowl next to my sink. I put my vegetable and fruit peelings, my soft coffee capsules, leftover meals, etc. Afterwards, I empty everything into the composter that I installed in my garden.
When there's bread left, I either make French toast or throw it on my lawn. Thus, the birds come to peck at it and my children love to watch them do it through the window!
