Crunchy and tender, as a dessert or at tea time, the meringue is a fine and light pastry that enchants the finest palates.

If all the know-how lies in its cooking, it is nonetheless a delicious delicacy!
But be careful not to skip the steps... at the risk of tasting this little sweet cloud deprived of its crunch!

Utensils
1 whisk or electric mixer
1 salad bowl

It's hard to get more economical!
How to
1. I preheat my oven to 120° (thermostat 4)
2. I firmly beat my egg whites, so I separate the white from the yolk beforehand.
3. I add my sugar while continuing to whip my egg whites:my mixture must be shiny and smooth!
4. On my sheet of parchment paper, I place small piles of my preparation (I space them enough so that they do not stick together) and hop, I put everything in the oven!
5. I stick my nose to the glass, impatient to see my mixture take shape...
6. I let it cook for between 30 minutes and 1 hour:after 1/2 hour, my meringues are very white and fluffy, after one hour of cooking, they are more rosy and crunchy!
Bonus Tips
I don't mix my egg yolk with the white.
I take my eggs out at least a quarter of an hour before using them.
I slightly open the door of my oven during cooking.
I wait for my meringues to cool in order to better take them off their support.
I vary the colors and flavors by flavoring my little piles of dough with a hint of cocoa, or even syrup!
