With this tip, you have everything you need to make any coffee a success.
Espresso, lungo, cappuccino or latte, all you have to do is choose:
1. Espresso: 30ml espresso.
2. Double espresso: 60ml of espresso.
3. Ristretto: 22 ml of espresso.
4. Length: 90ml of espresso.
5. Coffee macchiato: 60 ml of espresso and a drop of milk froth.
6. Coffee cream: espresso 60ml, heavy cream 30ml
7. Hazelnut coffee: 60 ml espresso and 30 ml hot milk.
8. Cut coffee: 60 ml of espresso and 30 ml of milk froth.
9. Cappuccino: 60 ml of espresso, 60 ml of steamed milk and 60 ml of milk froth.
10. Light cappuccino: 60 ml of espresso and 120 ml of milk froth.
11. American coffee: 60 ml of espresso and 90 ml of hot water.
12. Iced coffee: 60 ml of espresso and 2 ice cubes.
13. Coffee brief: 60 ml of espresso and 90 ml of half cream / half milk.
14. Mocha brief: 60 ml of espresso, 60 ml of chocolate and 60 ml of half cream / half milk.
15. Mocha: 60 ml espresso, 60 ml chocolate and 30 ml milk froth.
16. Coffee affogado: 60 ml espresso and 90 ml vanilla ice cream 90 ml (i.e. 1 scoop).
17. Viennese coffee: 60 ml espresso and 60 ml steamed milk.
18. Chantilly coffee: 60 ml of espresso and 90 ml of whipped cream.
19. Flat white: 60 ml of espresso and 120 ml of steamed milk.
20. Black eye: 60 ml of espresso and 120 ml of ground coffee.
21. Coffee latte: 60 ml of espresso and 300 ml of steamed milk.
22. Coffee with milk: 150 ml of filter coffee and 150 ml of steamed milk.
23. Cafe con leche: 180 ml of ground coffee and 180 ml of very hot milk.
Good to know: most espresso machines are equipped with a steam nozzle which allows both to cook the milk (known as "steam milk") and to froth the milk (known as "milk froth") .
But if you don't have a machine, no problem. All you have to do is put some very cold milk in a stainless steel container and you're done!
