Tired of your ice cubes melting too fast?
It's annoying to see the ice cubes melting at high speed!
Afterwards, there is only water left with a few very small ice cubes at the bottom.
Fortunately, there is a super simple trick to make them last much longer, during your next aperitif.
The effective trick to have ice cubes that last a long time is to put them in a colander.
1. Take a colander.
2. Place it on a container, such as a salad bowl, without it touching the bottom of the container.
3. Put the ice cubes in the colander.
There you go, your ice cubes will last much longer like this :-)
Easy, practical and smart, right?
By using a colander as an ice bucket, the water flows through the holes in the colander instead of accelerating the melting of the ice cubes.
They melt much more slowly. No need to get up every 15 minutes to get new ice cubes!
