Knife blocks are practical as storage but they also have disadvantages.
Fortunately, there is a trick to stop wasting time.
The trick is to put nail polish on the top of the handle to recognize the one with a serrated blade:
1. Take a colored nail polish.
2. Put varnish on the top of the handle of the serrated knife. You don't have to put as much as the picture. A small dot of color is enough.
There you go, now you instantly recognize the serrated knife :-)
You can also use different colors for different knives and thus know which blade you need quickly.
