Those bags of chips often seem half empty. Artist Henry Hargreaves thought so too. He put it to the test and tested how many chips and how much air there is actually in a bag. The percentages will surprise you.
He made his calculations by pushing a bag of chips into a bowl of water. Then he vacuum packed the chips and put the chips in the bowl of water again. In the video below you can see how Henry did his research.
Did you think your bag of chips is half empty? That only applies in the best case scenario. Many bags of chips are even 87 percent air. That means there are only 13 percent (!) chips in the bag.
