A while ago I shared my experiences of the OFYR Tabl'O with you and I was also allowed to give away three of these fantastic table bbqs from OFYR. Jesse was one of the lucky ones and she made a vegetarian stuffed sweet pepper on the barbecue. We can share the recipe with you so that you can enjoy it too. Because of course you can also make this stuffed pointed pepper on a regular barbecue instead of on the Tabl'O. But the latter is more fun.

The advantages of this delicious vegetarian recipe is that you do not need many ingredients for the stuffed pepper on the barbecue and that it is also easy to prepare. Handy, because that way you can prepare something in advance!
Cut the sweet pointed pepper in half lengthwise and remove the seeds. Then place them “open” on an aluminum foil tray. You can of course also make your own tray out of aluminum foil. Cut the goat cheese into small pieces and divide into the peppers. Sprinkle the pine nuts over it. Cut the spring onion into small rings and then put on top. Finally, divide some tasty honey over the peppers. And then the vegetarian stuffed peppers are ready to go on the barbecue.
When you see that the goat cheese is starting to melt and the liquid from the peppers is bubbling, they are ready to eat.
Preparing the vegetarian stuffed peppers on the OFYR Tabl'O barbecue can be done differently than on a regular barbecue. We started with the peppers in the foil, but it soon became apparent that this is not necessary at all on the OFYR. They don't burn anyway. The OFYR Tabl'O burns less hard than a normal barbecue (but much longer), so everything needs a little longer to cook.
Fortunately, with the Tabl'O you sit at the table with the aim of taking the time to eat together. Not bad at all if it takes a little longer while you are all sitting at the table together. Hubby even thinks this is a big advantage of barbecuing in this way. He doesn't have to stay at the barbecue all the time now. He can also come and sit at the table, eat and chat.
Using the OFYR Tabl'O is actually very easy and waiting for the briquettes to be hot enough takes about as long as with a regular barbecue. Cleaning takes some getting used to. But since it doesn't have Teflon, you don't have to be too careful with it. He is now clean again waiting for the next time. I'm sure we'll be using it often!!
