Well once again, you will have noticed it in the writing we are very greedy and when we find a new pearl to savor, on the web, we must share it with you. This week, the new sweet snack is called:the Macaronut.
What is a Macaronut?
Just from its name, one can easily guess what hides as a gourmet pleasure. On the border between a donut and a macaroon, this sweetness is savored and devoured without moderation. This new culinary invention from New York was created by the French pastry chef, François Payard, on the occasion of macaroon day (yes, yes it exists).
Once again, like the Rainbow Bagel, we will have to wait patiently before we can taste one in Paris. That said, nothing prevents you from rolling up your sleeves, to realize it yourself….
