If there's one thing we've learned from watching Game of Thrones, it's that no one is safe from disappearing from our screens. Nobody, except perhaps the wine! Yes, it has probably not escaped the fans of the series, the drink is omnipresent there (well, at the same time, given all the hardships they go through, we can understand them). So inevitably, HBO decided to partner with the Vintage Wine Estates, a group of California wineries, to offer Game of Thrones wines for sale.
HBO had already gone into the field of alcoholic beverages in 2013 but had opted for beer, a little less representative of the show, it must be said. The chain is therefore repeating the experience, this time launching the Wines of the Seven Kingdoms, scheduled for September 2017 in the United States. On the menu, two bottles of red wine (star of the series), a blend of the owner of the vineyard and a Cabernet Sauvignon, and a bottle of white wine (Chardonnay). Cool!
Well we avoid doing like Tyrion Lannister, undisputed champion of the category "biggest wine drinker in the series", and we drink in moderation!
