Kristen Tomlan, a young pastry chef, will open a most unusual restaurant on January 25, 2017:and for good reason, the particularity of her New York establishment is to be able to eat cookie dough… raw. A way to indulge (with impunity) in this little guilty pleasure of childhood! Admit it, we've all licked the spoon of barely baked cakes at least once, right?! On the menu of Do – Cookie Dough Confections:creations of all colors all made from cookie dough! And it goes from cones and tubs of ice cream through cupcakes to half-baked brownies. Yum!
And there's something for everyone ! Indeed, it is even possible to order vegan and gluten-free variants by going to the store's website. Kristen Tomlan goes even further by offering… recipes for dogs! The "Doggie DO" is indeed concocted to delight the stomachs of our canine friends, it is prepared with bananas, oats, almonds, pumpkin, honey, peanut butter and Milk Bone (biscuits Americans for Dogs). For those who are afraid of falling ill, the pastry chef says that her recipes present no risk because to make her dough she uses products made from pasteurized eggs and heated flour. We are therefore protected from the risk of bacteria such as salmonellosis to which we are exposed by eating uncooked dough made from flour and raw eggs.
If Kristen Tomlan reads this article and wants to open an address in France, we are not against it!
