We recently talked about sushi-taco, a culinary creation from Los Angeles, which mixes Japanese food and Mexican food. Now we have found another version of sushi, with the sushi-donut! The recipe is very simple (but the realization surely a little less):you must first compose a ring of rice, stuffed with avocado, tuna or crab, then cover this ring with various key ingredients of Japanese cuisine , such as salmon, ginger, cabbage, avocado, masago, soy, sesame seeds… Anything goes!
The first time we saw the sushi-donut was on the Instagram account of an Australian vegan cook, named Sam Melb. On her sobeautifullyreal account, with more than 300,000 subscribers, she shared a first sushi-donut recipe a few months ago. Given the enthusiasm that this culinary creation has created, many establishments now offer different recipes, such as Project Poke, a Californian restaurant, highlighted by an Insider video, and which posts its creations on its Instagram account. In addition to California, the sushi-donut has already made people happy in Canada, Indonesia and Italy. When will France be? We can't wait to taste!
