Now that we know it exists, this recipe seems incredibly obvious to us and we will probably not be able to do without it. What are we talking about ? Chocolate crumpets! Crumpets are these little English pastries that look like pancakes but have a particularity (and not the least):small holes, in which spread spread, jam, honey or any other gourmet substance flow!
The London pastry shop Knead has been offering these chocolate crumpets for a few months, but it was not until an article from BBC Good Food so that these little treats are revealed to the general public. Made with 70% chocolate, the media assures that these crumpets have "a rich, deep flavor and a slightly gooey texture when hot". For even more pleasure, the Knead pastry shop advises gourmets to add a dab of maple butter. And obviously, this sweet novelty has conquered Internet users, who do not hesitate to share their taste experience on Instagram.
Thanks to chocolate crumpets, our Sunday brunches will never taste the same again!
