The chocolate butter recipe developed by two New Zealand companies seems to have inspired a neighbor further north! Indeed, it is another breakfast essential that a Japanese company has decided to combine with butter:coffee. Megmilk Snow Brand, one of the country's largest dairy companies, which markets cream desserts, cheese and yogurt among other products, will launch the 55th anniversary of its popular coffee, the Snow Brand Coffee Soft, which is nothing but coffee butter. The idea seems rather curious, but the brand wants to be reassuring:the product will be anything but strong in the mouth, and its "sweet and soft taste with hints of milk" should be enough to put you in a good mood as soon as you jump out of bed.
According to the first images revealed, the Snow Brand Coffee Soft seems to have the texture of spreadable paste and can be spread on bread, brioche, pancakes or even pastries. And its 2-in-1 formula can be a good way to save time for those who have difficulty getting out of bed in the morning! The coffee butter will appear on the shelves of Japanese supermarkets on March 1st, and at only $2 (€1.90) a brick, it's a safe bet that it should meet with immediate success!
We, it tells us to try, don't you? Well, on the other hand, you will probably have to change your drink in the morning because dipping coffee in coffee… it might be a bit too much!
