Looking for a gourmet but quite healthy dessert, which throws some but not complicated to make? We have what you need ! The "banana sushi", or banana sushi in French, is the food trend that is agitating the web at the moment (even if it is relatively unknown in France). The principle ? Use the banana as a base for a sweet topping, which you can customize as you wish. Simple and very (very) good.
The instructions are super easy:take several bananas (at least one per person) + a binder:peanut butter, almond butter, cashew butter, melted dark chocolate (or for the greediest, Nutella)… + the topping of our choice:slivered almonds, chopped peanuts, chia seeds, sesame seeds, pistachios, coconut powder… Anything goes! We start by removing the skin from the banana, then we cover one of the sides with the binder (in the case of dark chocolate, we wait a little for it to cool) and we sprinkle the topping. If necessary, we go to the freezer for a few minutes so that the binder and the topping “set”. Then, cut the banana into pieces and stick a wooden pick into each sushi to avoid getting your fingers dirty. All you have to do is taste it, with or without chopsticks! Super easy, we told you!
