The anguish! We've all been stained with sauce while eating, and coincidentally, the only day we wore a white t-shirt. Life isn't always good. But is that a reason to invent sliced ketchup? Unsurprisingly, it's an American idea. Uncle Sam's cooking is sometimes strange. This new condiment is anti-stain, healthy with natural ingredients and no preservatives. 100% vegan! But visually, it looks more like a spread fruit paste.
It is the company Bo's Fine Foods that created these "Slice of Sauce". In reality, the recipe was born from a preparation error. It was by trying to reproduce a barbecue sauce that the co-founder of the brand made this solid ketchup. How? 'Or' What ? It's a mystery.
A fundraising campaign had been launched on the Kickstarter site, which enabled 677 people to contribute to the production of this ketchup. Of the $15,000 requested, 30,090 were raised.
Deliveries in North America are expected to start from June 2018, soon on the internet and in grocery stores around the world. But we still have a question:how are we going to dip our fries in ketchup?
