Ireland Tourism has compiled a list of the best recipes from well-known Irish chefs especially for home cooks:
1. Born and Braised
A dish voted Northern Ireland's most quintessential by leading chefs, is 'Born and Braised', which translates as born and braised (Northern Irish beef shank served with beetroot and bone marrow gremolata). This is a very tasty recipe, also voted the pinnacle of Northern Irish cooking by the public.
2. Guinness bread
From the cradle of the black stuff, we present you Guinness bread. Nothing is more Irish than the brown soda bread, but this bread, combined with the hearty taste of Guinness, definitely leaves you wanting more.
3. Lobster Lawyer
When it comes to fresh fish, Ireland's coastal waters are teeming with treasures, which come in daily. country to be delivered. This Lobster Lawyer (lobster) recipe by Chef Aidan MacManus of the King Sitric in Howth is simple, yet delectable food at its best, with fish caught daily by the fishermen in Balscadden Bay, just outside the restaurant. /P>
