Carrot mousse in verrines

Ingredients for 4 people

  • 400g of carrots
  • 70g fresh goat cheese
  • 3 tablespoons of cream
  • 2 teaspoons of cumin
  • 4 breadsticks

Preparation

Start by washing your carrots, then peel them and cut them into rings.

Fill a pot with water and bring the carrots to a simmer. Half an hour later, drain and let cool.

Then put the carrots in the blender along with the cream cheese, cream and cumin. Salt and pepper can also be added according to your taste.

Once everything is well mixed, when the texture becomes frothy, you can fill your verrines with it.

Leave in the fridge until ready to serve, when you can plant one breadstick per verrine.

The small verrines are ideal for a light and refined starter.
