Preheat the oven to th.8 (180°C). Melt the butter in a saucepan. Drain the pears and pat them dry. Cut them into thin strips.
Layer the brick sheets 2 by 2, coat the surface with melted butter. Spread the pear slices in the center, sprinkle with cinnamon and ginger, then add a piece of vanilla pod split lengthwise. Close the bricks in triangles, brush them with butter.
Place the bricks on a buttered baking sheet and cook for 8 to 10 minutes until golden brown.
Place them on plates, decorate with anise stars and some fresh fruit and serve immediately.
