How to REALLY Wash a Leek Easily.

Looking for a way to properly wash leeks?

To make sure you don't have any dirt left on it, here's a simple trick.

It will save you from eating sand at dinner!

Here's how to do it in 3 small steps:

1. Cut the end of the leek

• 1. Cut off the end of the leek
• 2. Cut the leek in half
• 3. Rinse each leek half under running water
• Result

2. Cut the leek in half

3. Run each leek half under water

When you clean the leek under water, remember to spread the stem well to get all the soil out.

The water will run all the way down the shaft and wash away the dirt.

Also run the leek leaves under water if you eat them.

Result

And here is your leek is all clean :-)

Simple and efficient ! And it's much better than eating sand at the same time as your leek.
