And now, thanks to this trick, you can keep your pancakes warm and fluffy for hours :-)

Easy, fast and efficient, right?

With this trick, you can prepare your pancakes in advance and keep them warm and fluffy for your guests.

It's much more practical than making them as you go or reheating them one by one at the end of a meal...

That way, the pancakes don't dry out and they stay delicious.

Additional advice

Instead of the upside down plate, know that you can use a cloche like this.

It also works with pancakes, savory and sweet pancakes, of course!

Gourmands can enjoy the pancakes and a good homemade spread.

And if you ever prefer to buy your own spread, we recommend one of these spreads.

Why does it work?

The steam keeps the pancakes warm, without drying them out.

The temperature is perfect to keep them lukewarm for several hours.

And the upside-down plate keeps the heat in.

How long can pancakes be kept?

There are a few pancakes left after the snack? Don't throw them away! The pancakes will keep for 2 days in the fridge and up to 2 months in the freezer.

To ensure that they retain all their flavors, remember to cover them with cling film or aluminum foil.

And be careful, because pancake batter can only be kept for 48 hours in the fridge. Indeed, the pancake batter contains raw eggs which do not keep very long.
