Fresh herbs left? Keep them in the freezer. These tips will keep them tasty.
Many fresh herbs can simply be frozen. Keep in mind that they can sometimes lose flavor. The leaves also do not always remain beautiful after freezing. For example, basil leaves will go limp. Not pretty if you use the leaves to garnish, but they are still fine in terms of taste.
You can also choose to make some of the herbs first before freezing them. For example, make herb oil or herb butter. You can easily make pesto with a surplus of basil.
You can also dry fresh herbs, that way you can keep them for months. Read here how to dry your herbs.
