These lettuce wraps are a delicious snack or lunch. You can replace the red onion with a spring onion or shallot, whichever you prefer!
INGREDIENTS FOR 4 LETTUCE WRAPS:
- 1/8 cucumber
- 1 can of tuna in olive oil
- 4 snack tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise (Zaanse, full variety)
- 1 small red onion
- 4 large lettuce leaves (e.g. Romaine lettuce)
- salt and pepper

PREPARATION:
- Leak the tuna well and mash the tuna with a fork, so that you have small pieces of tuna.
- Cut the tomatoes (without seeds) into small pieces and finely chop the onion.
- Cut the cucumber into small pieces.
- Now combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise through it. Season with salt and pepper.
- Put the lettuce leaves on a plate and spread the tuna mixture evenly on the lettuce leaves.
