The healthiest way to eat almonds is raw or dry roasted. If it says 'roasted' on the package, there is a chance that it was done in unhealthy fats. You roast yourself in a dry pan. Heat them over medium heat until they are golden brown. Shake the pan regularly in between.

Almonds are drupes of the almond tree, which belongs to the prunus family. This includes cherries, plums, peaches and nectarines.
There are less than 200 calories in 30 grams. That may sound like a lot, but they contain a lot of vitamins and healthy fats.
