With this recipe, you will love this Monday! What if tonight, when you get home from work, you give yourself a moment of delight with this delicious chocolate and caramel tart from La Popotte de Manue? Something to boost your morale for the week!
The must, if you're lazy or overwhelmed? The recipe is super-quick and still just as delicious if you use ready-made salted butter caramel cream and store-bought shortcrust pastry.
Good start to the taste week and see you tomorrow for a new blogger recipe!
Ingredients
250g flour
100g soft butter, diced
1 pinch of salt
100g icing sugar
2 eggs
200g salted butter caramel cream
200g milk chocolate
120g whipping cream
80g peanuts
Put the flour in a large bowl with the butter, salt and icing sugar, sand everything with your fingertips then incorporate the eggs. Form a ball, film it and flatten it with the palm of your hand. Refrigerate for 30 mins.
Line the rectangular pie pan with the sweet pastry. Prick it then place on parchment paper and on the dough; ceramic balls, or rice, or pasta to carry out blind cooking and thus prevent the dough from swelling. Bake for 20 minutes at 180°C, remove the marbles and continue cooking for 5 minutes.
Leave to cool then spread the caramel on the pie, distribute the peanuts. Chop the chocolate and place it in a bowl. Boil the fresh cream and pour it over the chocolate, whisk to obtain a very smooth ganache. Pour over the caramel.
Leave to cool then store in a cool place.
You can use a store-bought shortcrust pastry for an even faster recipe, or on the contrary, you can make a homemade caramel to place at the bottom of the pie, and even melt caramel candies...it's up to you to make this delicious pie that reminds us of a well-known chocolate bar :o)
