A new bus has been criss-crossing the streets of the capital for a month. But not just any! Her name ? The Burger Bus. Its principle? Wander the streets of Paris while enjoying burgers. A former RATP bus, redecorated as an American diner from the 1970s, this mobile restaurant offers a stroll from Place de la Bastille, to Notre Dame Cathedral, via the Eiffel Tower and the Champs Elysées while filling your stomach with gourmet burgers. Just thinking about it makes us hungry…
Prepared in a restaurant then cooked on site, the burgers are prepared to order and served hot. The bread comes from Graines de Créateurs, an artisan bakery that supplies restaurants, hotels and caterers in the region, while the meat is from Charolais and the fresh vegetables come from Rungis. The menu is short, but effective, with 5 burgers served with potato churros. Just enough to satisfy lovers of beef, chicken, or foie gras, and even vegetarians. You can also privatize the Burger Bus to take your friends around Paris, with loud music, a nightclub atmosphere, draft beer and always homemade burgers.
The Burger Bus has 32 seats, and it costs between €22 and €27 for a burger menu with potato churros and a drink. And if you have car sickness, burgers are available to take away from their shop (2 rue Jacquard, 75011 Paris). The reservation is made online. Not to be missed!
