Pierre Hermé and L'Occitane is a love story that lasts. In 2015, the pastry chef (elected Best Pastry Chef in the World in 2016, all the same!) imagined with the Provençal brand for a collection of fragrances (Honey, Immortelle and Mandarin, Jasmine, Immortelle and Neroli and Grapefruit and Rhubarb) offered in containers designed by Olivier Baussan, the founder of L'Occitane. Now the two brands are doing it again, this time with a new location:86Champs, located, as its name suggests, on the Champs-Élysées. The place, open since December 8, 2017, is worth a visit...
Pastry + cosmetics, what does it give? An original tea room, which will delight gourmets as well as lovers of beautiful places or those who want to treat themselves to a special moment. From breakfast to cocktails, the place offers everyone the opportunity to come and enjoy a privileged moment and taste sweet sweets (we think of macaroons, chocolates, millefeuilles and pastries such as Ispahan or Mogador) or savory (croque-monsieur with Comté cheese, omelettes, etc.), on the comfortable banquettes or on the green terrace. The Dessert Bar located in the middle of the concept store allows you to see the pastry chefs at work, but also to discover the production of creams and oils for the body. The place also has a perfume organ and a cream bar to discover the fragrances and textures of L'Occitane products. Drinks are also at the heart of 86Champs, since you can notably discover 3 varieties of coffee offered in 16 tasting variations and desserts… to drink. Yum!
If you were looking for a nugget to discover on the most beautiful avenue in the world... look no further!
