For those who know the catchphrase, it is sometimes tempting to arrange an "aperitif" box between two reams of metro... In addition to stopping at the first bar you come across, why not organize an aperitif at home worthy of the name, with friends or as a couple? Offer a cocktail party to his/her darling with all your friends together can also be a nice idea for a birthday party, or simply a way to celebrate the long-awaited arrival of the weekend together!
Originally, aperitif comes from the Latin aperire which means "open":a so-called aperitif decoction had the virtue of opening, of unclogging the elimination pathways, it was a medical term. By extension, an aperitif drink also had the power to whet the appetite, and the moment of tasting it became the aperitif by metonymy (késako? example, "to have a drink"…) or aperitif for close friends. And for good reason, even today, the latter opens our festivities or our evening meal and is renowned for curing the little ailments of the day!
The aperitif has thus become a moment of sharing around a bottle, it is in a way an essential tasting rite intended to stimulate the appetite of the guests:it will therefore be necessary to provide appetizers...
For quick and easy sweets that will tempt all your guests, nothing could be simpler (for eight people):150g of cocktail sausages (like Knacki balls ) or chorizo, 100g grated Emmental cheese, 1 egg, puff pastry. Then you have two options:
The "baby fingers", as they are called in the evening, a little dark humor for a recipe very simple:roll each cocktail sausage in a piece of dough, brush with egg yolk, roll in the grated cheese. Bake on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper in a preheated oven at 180°C until golden brown.
The chorizo rolls:mix the chorizo and the Emmental cheese, spread on the rolled out dough. Roll the dough on itself to make a sausage, then place 1/4 hour in the fridge:it will cut better. Then, cut the pudding into slices, brush, bake as above. For all-cheese puff pastry , replace the chorizo with goat cheese and add a hint of honey before serving… mmh :-)
A gift idea for all those who toil and have neither the time nor the energy to organize an aperitif at home:the gift boxes of certain specialists giving the right to "Aperitif" boxes which give the right to a convivial aperitif to share with two in one of the partner restaurants!
