Nutritious, they change from the traditional peanuts and slices of sausage.
They will happily satisfy your guests and add a touch of originality to your dinner aperitifs.

For 4 people - Preparation time: 15 min - Cooking time: 10 mins
- 8 thin slices of pork
- 120 g Emmental cheese (8 x 15 g sticks)
- 8 small stalks of celery
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 2 pinches of powdered sugar
- 1 pinch of Espelette pepper
- 8 skewers
Preparation:15 min – Cooking:10 min – Resting:30 min
1. Wash and dry the celery stalks.
2. Cut the Emmental into sticks of about 15 g (2 sticks per person).
3. Thread the Emmental then the celery onto skewers.
4. Wrap the meat around the skewers and hold them tight with string.
5. Arrange the skewers in a deep dish, drizzle with soy sauce, sprinkle with sugar and chilli.
6. Leave to marinate for 30 minutes.
7. Drain the skewers then cook them 8 min in a pan or hot oven without fat.
8. Remove the strings.
There you go, your skewers are already ready for the aperitif :-)

When I cook, I like to add a little personal touch to my dishes.
For my skewers, I prepare some with sesame seeds :before cooking them, I roll them in it.
These little roasted seeds enhance the flavor of my dish.
