All that remains is to cook your squash to taste it!
To make a hearty and economical family meal, I recommend this delicious recipe for roasted butternut squash with lentils and gorgonzola.
Also note that if you buy organic squash, you don't have to remove the skin.
To make the skin even easier to peel, you can also put your butternut in the microwave.
Simply put your squash in the oven on full power for 3 minutes.
Wait a bit for it to cool and you will notice that the skin is much more supple.
Peeling is much easier with the peeler.
Instead of the microwave, you can also immerse the squash directly in a large pot of boiling water.
Again, the skin is removed much more easily.
