Leftovers served next day, kids don't like it and we don't like it let know.
Transformed into crunchy and tender samosas, your leftovers will delight the whole family!
I love samosas.
To make it yourself, nothing could be simpler, just buy brick sheets (thin pancakes in the Asian section) and freeze them.
All that remains is to take them out as soon as the need arises!
All ! As soon as I have leftover shepherd's pie, chicken curry, meat, carrots, green beans, peas... You can put whatever you want in a samosa.
You can even make sweets. With old fruit to finish that I turn into compote, cottage cheese and even a slice of forgotten and dried out brownie... With my leftovers, I never forget to cook pretty samosas. My favourites:making small candies with pieces of chocolate that have bleached over time! Hmmm, my mouth is watering!
Cut the sheet in half. Fold the semi-circle in half so that the rounding is on top. Place a tablespoon of your leftovers in a corner and fold the sheet on itself until you get a nice triangle. I often add a little egg yolk to the samosas so that they are golden after their little tour in the oven.
And you, what leftovers did you make your samosas with? Do you have any samosa recipes for us to discover? Tell us your little secret in the comments.
It is not always easy to dose your dishes and very often there are two parts left at the bottom of the pan! How many times have we lost these remains that we thought we had finished for a week! Transforming your leftovers is a good solution to motivate yourself to eat the same dish again!
The sheets of bricks are generally sold by 10 for 1€50. They are enough to create 20 medium samosas, 40 if you only make chocolate or fruity bites. Ideal for a meal for a family of 4 or 5 people! Who says better?
