Fortunately, there is a simple and economical trick to help green vegetables keep their color. Just add a pinch of baking soda at the end of cooking.
1. Boil some water.
2. Once brought to a boil, add your vegetables.
3. Let cook as usual.
4. One minute before the end of cooking, add a pinch of baking soda.
There you go, your vegetables keep a nice green color :-)
