Mother's Day coming soon!
To celebrate it, I don't want to spend hours in the kitchen.
But there's no question of not delighting my tribe!
I opt for a gourmet dessert that is quick to prepare:
Apple feuillantine.
- 1 puff pastry ready to unroll
- 1 or 2 beautiful apples (golden, pink lady, etc.)
- 40 g ½ salted butter
- 40g blond cane sugar
Preparation:10 min - Cooking:20 min
1. I unroll the puff pastry and spread it in my pie dish. I prick it with a fork.
2. I peel the apples then cut them into thin strips.
3. I arrange them on the dough by making them ride.
4. I preheat the oven to 200° then bake the pie for 10 min.
5. Meanwhile, I melt 40 g of butter in a saucepan over low heat.
6. I take the pie out of the oven and pour the melted butter over its entire surface, then I sprinkle with sugar.
7. I put the dish back in the oven and let it cook for another 10 min.
And now, it's ready ! All you have to do is taste it :-)
To spread your melted butter evenly over the entire surface of your pie, use a brush, it's so much more practical!
This caramelized feuillantine goes wonderfully with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and/or a little whipped cream. Today it is allowed!
