It's summer, it's hot and even if we love basic churros it's a bit heavy and it doesn't make us dream. Rest assured, we have found the recipe that will change your mind. Gluttony alert!
Ice cream is nice but if you can pimp it all up a bit to make it even more irresistible, you won't miss it. For this, frozen churros are perfect. If you want to let yourself be tempted by this trend, we reveal the recipe!
3 eggs / 190 grams flour / 350 ml water / 45 ml vegetable oil / 5 ml pure vanilla extract / 3 grams baking powder or baking powder / 27 grams brown sugar / 175 grams sugar / 2 vs. ground cinnamon / 3 grams of salt and finally rapeseed or sunflower oil for frying.
Step 1: making the dough Mix in a saucepan:vegetable oil, water, brown sugar, salt and 25 grams of sugar. Bring to a boil to obtain a homogeneous mixture. Thereafter, stir constantly add to this preparation the flour and the baking powder (baking powder), until the dough comes away from the sides of the pan. Then let it cool down a bit.
In a separate container, lightly whisk the eggs and vanilla extract. When the first batter is tempered enough to handle, add the eggs. Mix quickly until the batter is smooth and shiny. Then transfer the dough to a piping bag with a star nozzle as a tip to shape the churros.

step: assembling the spirals and baking Form the spirals on a baking sheet then place in the freezer for 15 minutes. In the meantime, for the coating of the churros, mix the sugar and cinnamon in a bowl that you reserve.
Once the 15 minutes have passed, heat the frying oil to 175°C. All you have to do is fry the churros. Let them cook for 2 to 3 minutes until they are golden brown. Don't forget to put them on a paper towel once the cooking is finished to absorb the frying oil. Finally, coat the churros in sugar and cinnamon.
All you have to do is add the ice cream to your churros and it's ready! Good tasting!
