To lose weight, it is often recommended to stop eating bread . It must be said that this dish is quite high in calories and does not provide much in terms of pure nutrition. But eliminating it from our diet is particularly complex, because bread is an integral part of our eating habits. So what to do? To make Club Bread you need:

– 3 eggs

– 60 g of cream cheese, like Philadelphia

– 1.25 g sodium bicarbonate

Preheat the oven to 150°C. Separate the egg yolks from the whites. Then add the cream cheese to the egg yolks, mix with a whisk until a homogeneous preparation is obtained:there should not be any pieces of cheese left. Even little ones!

Add the baking soda to the egg whites then beat them stiff with an electric whisk. Gently fold the beaten egg whites into the egg yolk/cheese mixture with a spatula.

On a silicone plate or parchment paper previously spread on the baking sheet, arrange small heaps of 2 tablespoons of preparation, being careful to space the heaps well because the dough spreads during cooking. Place in the oven and bake the buns for 20 minutes, until lightly browned on the surface. Let them cool on a wire rack before devouring them. Bon appetit!
